Shipping policy

Big Metal Prints ships across Canada and the US. Orders from the northern territories and Alaska will be subject to elevated shipping costs.
All items are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit and shipped insured.   We pay to have a signature required by the courier on delivery. If damage is visible when you receive a package, make sure to have the courier sign that damage was visible. Often, the exterior can show wear, but the piece inside is pristine, so you can accept the package after the damage is noted.
If damage or loss does occurs please contact us immediately with pictures of the damage to the packaging as well as the damage to your print.  DO NOT THROW OUT any damaged materials until advised by us as the shipper may request an inspection.  We ship your order insured so once the damage claim has been approved we will send out a replacement piece.  No refunds will be given for damaged shipments.
Shipping times vary greatly depending on your location and the current status of the shippers.  Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number and the majority of orders arrive within 3-6 weeks.
Shipping, packaging and insurance and rates have fluctuated a lot in recent times, so current costs will be calculated at checkout based on the size of your piece of art and your location. If you are near Calgary, Alberta you may pick up at our production facility free of charge. Our policy is to charge you what we pay.  If your order is higher than CAD$3000, please email us or phone us for shipping quote.
